RBH wins impressive industry accolade in the Roses Creative Awards for online video, Breaking Point.
We’re delighted to announce that RBH has won bronze for its Breaking Point campaign alongside Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnerships NHS Trust in the Roses Creative Awards 2020.
The awarded campaign saw RBH work closely with the Trust to encourage men to talk more openly about their mental health. Using powerful video as a storytelling device, RBH focused on the connection we all have with our cars as the metaphor for unchecked mental health.
From the concept and storyboard to the narrative, filming and editing, the agency delivered a powerful video to spread the message of recognising symptoms and seeking help early.
Breaking Point was driven by insights, such as: 12.5% of men in the UK are suffering from common mental health illnesses and 46% of those are embarrassed or ashamed of their mental health condition.*
Based on these, we aimed to raise awareness of the services the Trust provides, while also emphasising the potentially devastating consequences of not seeking help when experiencing mental health issues.
RBH founding partner Debra Hepburn said: “We couldn’t be happier that Breaking Point has been recognised in this year’s awards. The Trust is taking huge steps to ensure everyone has access to the mental health support they deserve and we’re so proud to have helped spread the word.”
Head of Insight Joe Hepburn added: “Now more than ever, we need to support our NHS and remember to check in with those around us. We hope that Breaking Point opens up the conversation about mental health and encourages people to reach out if they’re feeling low.”
Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is designed to help people who are struggling with their mental health or near breaking point. Its Dudley and Walsall Wellbeing courses offer immediate access to online supported CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) programmes, with interactive tools to help people better understand their own mental health.
